Hi! My name is Mallory and I like drawing cool stuff!
When I was 9 years old I took home Cats Don’t Dance on VHS from my local Blockbuster and refused to give it back. Not long after that, I ruined a family home movie by drawing on the film inside the tape in an attempt to make my own. I’ve been drawing ever since.
I grew up in the magical decade of the 90s; where Balto, Aladdin, and any other animated movie I could get my hands on played on repeat all the live long day, everyday. The TV was my domain. If it wasn’t film, it was cartoons – (I cycled through Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and KidsWB exclusively.) – and I honestly don’t remember very much live-action from my childhood!
Born and raised in New York, I received my BFA from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan in 2010, and continued on to work as a freelance animator. I specialize in Traditional Character Animation and Character Design in digital media. I was also given the Dusty award for Character Design in my graduating class.
I am always challenging myself and adapting to new ideas and techniques!
In January 2015, I made the big leap to Los Angeles and have had the privilege to work for some great studios such as 6Point Harness, Titmouse, and Starburns Industries. Most recently I've animated for Warner Brother for six years.
I am currently Supervising 2D Animation Director at Oddbot Inc.
